In an interview with BioSpectrum India Shrey Agarwal, CEO & Director, Abdos Lifesciences spoke to many issues including how the company is ensuring compliance with evolving global standards for products used in regulated clinical environments. What contribution can high-quality Indian-made lab consumables and IVD products make to clinical research efficiency?

High quality lab consumables and IVD products can contribute significantly to clinical research efficiency both domestically and globally. Our products are the invisible foundation of clinical research efficiency, with every small improvement in the precision, sterility or reliability of our products, the improvements also result in faster, more accurate and reproducible scientific outcomes. From India's perspective, our country's bioeconomy is expanding rapidly and hit a $165.7 billion valuation previous year. Moreover, The BioIT and Research Services sector grew 29 per cent YoY. The entire world is now viewing India as a global hub for bioinformatics, clinical development and data driven research, and the demands for highly precise and reliable laboratory consumables, which deliver the most accurate results will only grow.
