From reshaping content to redefining education and powering India's space economy, industry leaders weigh in on how AI is rewriting the rules across sectors
-
ARTIFICIAL intelligence is no longer a distant promise but a transformative force that is reshaping business, education, content and even space exploration. Across sectors, AI is being embedded into workflows and infrastructures, redefining how organisations operate, engage, and innovate. Industry experts from technology, design, space and education share their insights on how AI delivers efficiencies and enables meaningful, human-centric outcomes.
Responsible Innovation
Shrikrishna Dikshit, Partner - Risk Advisory at Baker Tilly ASA India, highlights the growing need to protect AI systems from exploitation even as their use multiplies. “Increasing use of AI across industries poses critical cybersecurity threats that may possibly transform its innovations adversely,” says Dikshit. “Threats like model theft, data poisoning, and adversarial attacks highlight the vulnerabilities in AI systems and reiterate the need for more robust, secure, and resilient AI models.”
He notes that these challenges are already driving advancements such as explainable AI, improved variance detection, and stronger encryption, but human oversight remains irreplaceable. “Relying solely on AI to make decisions may lead to errors or manipulation, especially if the models are limited or inadequately trained. Integrating human oversight with AI ensures that important choices remain responsible and ethically reasonable.”
