XBHP POWER TOUR

In previous issue of the xBhp Print Magazine, we have been bringing to you the coverage from the xBhp Power Tour 2023, a roadtrip that is aimed at getting to experience some of the greatest examples of automotive engineering around the world.

We call this roadtrip the xBhpPowerTour 2023. We have ridden some amazing motorcycles and driven some fantastic cars so far. And this bit is no different as we experience two phenomenal BMWs in Germany and a very quirky vehicle in Dubai.

Talking about the BMWs first, we drove the BMW M4 CSL and the BMW M8 Competition. The M4 CSL is a stripped down road car that set a blistering time around the Nurburgring. It is edgy, powerful, and a whole lot of fun; perhaps the most engaging M car I have ever driven. It is capable of sending your sense into an overdrive and you'll love it for that. The M8 Competition is a grand tourer that is opulent and accommodating but being an M-car comes with some obligations. It is also blisteringly quick and surprisingly nimble for a car of its stature. This was topped off by an expereince of piloting a Jet Car in Dubai Marina thanks to Gold Water Yatch. They have made it look like a car and it can be pretty quick if you'd like to be so it does most of what a car does... except, it does it on water! So without further ado, let us get to it.

BMW M4 CSL

I have driven a fair few BMWs in my life. Therefore, I, and any other enthusiast worth their salt can tell that they are special. Then there's the M Division which makes them even better. I drove an M340i in India and it was a crazy good car. Now imagine that it isn't even a full-fledged M car. During the #xBhpPowerTour 2023, I got the pleasure of driving not one but two such cars. I'll start with the one you see here- the BMW M4 CSL.

Senegal

Senegal is best known for the Paris Dakar rally. But it has much more to that. Our brief sojourn in this country with the TVS Apache mo-torcycles showed us some amazing sights and history. The photo on this page shows a Baobab tree, which is also the national symbol of the country. They have thick water storing trunks and have immense size and long lifespans often reaching thousands of years.
