Often called the crown jewel in the F1 calendar, the race in Monaco is one with a lot of fanfare around it. The location and heritage of the venue make it a prime event for the rich and famous to attend. While the atmosphere surrounding the race is always electrifying, the race itself is often a snooze fest. Being a street circuit that joined the sport back in 1950, it has become too narrow for modern F1 cars to overtake without risking crashes. This leads to a race that is more akin to a procession.
