F1 fans winced as McLaren pulled off more team orders

It was an extraordinary scene in Hungary last year when McLaren issued the controversial team order, asking Lando Norris to concede the victory to Oscar Piastri. The team had decided to pit Norris first while Piastri was ahead, allowing him to undercut his teammate, with the understanding that they would swap positions on track. Norris initially refused to do so, leading to some truly embarrassing radio messages being aired live. The positions were swapped eventually, and Piastri won his first race, but it left a bad taste in everyone's mouth. One would think that this is a rare occurrence and would probably not happen again.
