KAWASAKI'S BIG NAKED BIKE, A HIGHLIGHT OF THE EARLY 2000S

BACK IN in the early 1990s Kawasaki launched a new-gen naked bike called the ZRX1100R, based on a variant of the hugely successul ZZ-R1100 engine.
A great idea, and a thoroughly nice bike, but detuned to the point where it was producing just 71kW (96hp). Not enough.
In 2001 Kawasaki had another crack at it, this time with the ZRX1200R. Now the company shouted from the rooftops how it had comprehensively re-engineered the engine and in fact the whole motorcycle.
