Injection and brakes sorted!

I’ve been having lots of fun with older motorhomes this month.

First up was a year-2000 Ducato-based ’van that came in running very badly; a significant misfire and loss of power were the main symptoms. Failing injectors were diagnosed and duly replaced, but that didn’t fully resolve the issues. In fact, after a couple of hours spent trying to get the injection system to bleed up, it refused to start at all, even though it would crank over quite happily. Turns out the injection pump had gone down - so time to search the interweb. Eventually I found a longstanding company not 20 miles away who said, “Yes we can do those pumps, no problem.” Happy Dave!
