South Africa's Charles Arton had to bring his March 79B back from the dead

THIS MARCH 79B, chassis 21, was raced by F1 driver Derek Daly in Formula Atlantic in America in the late 1970s. I bought the car from the States in 2012, shipped it out to Cape Town and raced it for a bit and then, realising how special it was, decided to have it fully rebuilt. I took the car to Steve Humble of Harp Motorsport - he came out to South Africa supporting David Piper decades ago and, thank goodness, stayed. He carried out a total restoration, down to the last rivet.
