Born on the track and bred for the road, Michelin’s Power Cup 2 tyres are a no-compromise option for riders chasing lap times without giving up road legality. These semi-slick radials are aimed squarely at fast road riders and track day junkies, with plenty of clever tech packed into them.
The tech
At the heart of the Power Cup 2’s performance is a dual-compound construction. Michelin uses its ACT + (Adaptive Casing Technology Plus) design, which layers the carcass in a way that enhances cornering stability without compromising bump absorption. It’s a radial construction with a synthetic reinforcement ply that optimises feedback, especially under heavy braking and when you’ve got your bike cranked over at full lean.
