No longer a model under the International marque, Scout returns as its own brand with plans to sell a pair of South Carolina-built battery-powered vehicles before the decade's end.
TAKING INSPIRATION from the 1961-80 International Scout, the Scout Terra and Traveler concepts preview the nascent automaker's upcoming electric pickup truck and SUV of the same names. Those two Scouts are still a couple-three years off, though, with the Volkswagen-backed brand planning to kick off production in early 2027 at its currently under-construction South Carolina plant. Scout says the designs of the rugged-looking concepts will carry over to the finished product 85 percent intact.
