RED BULL'S MAX VERSTAPPEN ACHIEVED three pole positions in a row at the Dutch Grand Prix. This time, it went down to the last lap and he emerged ahead of McLaren's Lando Norris and Mercedes' George Russell. Crashes involving Logan Sargeant and Charles Leclerc had brought the red flags out, further complicating an already tricky qualifying that took place in mixed conditions. Other notable happenings include Lewis Hamilton's surprising exit in Q2 (13th place) and Alex Albon's brilliant drive that put him in fourth place on the starting grid. The injured Daniel Ricciardo was replaced by Liam Lawson who would start his first F1 race from the last spot on the grid.
