The Porsche 911 GT3 S/C promises a first-of-its-kind open-top driving experience

The 911 GT3 S/C (Sport Cabriolet) ushers in a new era for Porsche's vaunted 'GT3' nameplate; combining a high-revving flat-six engine, short-ratio six-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drivetrain with open-top driving for the first time.

Indeed, the S/C is the first 911 GT3 with a fully automatic convertible roof. This model employs the same powertrain as its 992.2-generation GT3 stablemate — a naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six petrol engine producing 375 kW and 450 N.m of torque, and capable of revving to a howling 9 000 r/min redline.
