FOR THE NEW DESIGN OF THE Daytona, Triumph say that they have reimagined the styling for an aggressive new stance and clean lines. Distinctive twin LED headlights incorporate a central air intake and the minimal bodywork is said to emphasise the athletic profile, culminating in a contoured LED tail-light. There are three striking colour options on offer, all featuring a bold “660” race-inspired graphic.
The new Daytona 660 is said to be a significant evolution of Triumph’s 660-cc triple-cylinder engine, now with 95 hp of peak power and 69 Nm of peak torque. Triumph say that it provides a smooth, responsive, and linear delivery with a perfect combination of low-down torque, mid-range, and top-end power. Besides delivering 17 per cent greater power and nine per cent more torque than the Trident, the Daytona 660 also has a brand-new exhaust that makes for an unmistakable soundtrack.
