Ola's CEO & founder is young techie-cumentrepreneur who was born in 1985 in North India's industrial city of Ludhiana. Aggarwal completed his Bachelors in Technology (Computer Science and Engineering) from IIT-B in 2008 and started his career with Microsoft Research India as a Research Intern and later got reinstated as an Assistant Researcher.
Some say he is India's answer to Elon Musk has big ambitions for Ola Electric. During his over two years of stint with Microsoft, Bhavish managed to file two patents and also got three papers published in the international journals.
He then founded "OLA CABS" in Bengaluru in 2010 with Ankit Bhati, which was officially owned by ANI Technologies, a rebranding of his previous venture. Ola had closed down its pre-owned car business, as well as its quick-commerce business, Ola Dash, as of late as part of restructuring and making the organisation lean and cost-effective.
