We take to exploring the wilder side of things with the hugely popular Hyundai Creta. Abhinav Jakhar takes you to one of the most significant national parks in the country, Ranthambore

India is a land of diverse cultural significance. It is not just categorised by centuries-old monuments and architecture, but also by a rich ecological history. For the second edition of the Hyundai Heritage Drive with Hyundai, our journey began at the National Zoological Park in New Delhi, which is home to more than a hundred species, all from our vast nation.

However, witnessing these beautiful creatures in their natural habitat is the true definition of exploring wildlife. Speaking of which, our country is home to over 106 national parks and it made the most amount of sense to visit one of the most prominent ones.

Our choice for this trip is Hyundai's hugely popular SUV, the Creta. Apart from topping the sales chart, it is arguably one of the most significant models to come out of the brand's vast repertoire. It has been nearly a decade since the first generation arrived and changed the landscape of the Indian automotive industry. We decided to take this juggernaut of an SUV to the Ranthambore National Park, which is one of the largest national parks in north India. After a quick exit from Delhi, we found ourselves on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway to Dausa, which made the drive to Ranthambore a doddle.
