Jaecoo 8 sets sights on Hyundai Santa Fe

Flagship seven-seat SUV is expected to start from around £45,000
AT the same time as a whole new marque (Lepas, left) is launched, fellow Chery-owned brand Jaecoo has added a fresh seven-seat flagship to its lineup in the form of the Jaecoo 8.
The Skoda Kodiaq and Hyundai Santa Fe rival isn't simply a larger version of the bestselling Jaecoo 7, because the brand has opted for a sleeker, more modern design than its square-jawed sibling. However, there are some shared design elements, such as the 'waterfall' grille, chunky Jaecoo lettering and a full-width rear lightbar.
