Surbhi Singhal and Deepanshu Arneja craft a 15,700 sq ft residence that questions the conventional relationship between the built and natural environments, creating two different yet compatible homes wrapped in a jungle plantation embrace

TWIN SOULS, SINGLE VISION

The built environment and biophilia go hand in hand. Especially in exponentially developing urban contexts where the need to balance architecture with nature becomes even more critical. Following this ethos to the 'T' is the Twin Villa in Meerut.

Designed by SIAN Architects, this 15,700 sq ft residence unfolds as a warrant for quiet luxury. If you observe from the road, Twin Villa transpires as a lesson in equilibrium; its staggered, block-like forms merge into the verdant intersection it calls home. Designed to imitate the rhythm of the surrounding parks in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, the villa's understated facade invites intrigue without ostentation. Founders and principal architects Surbhi Singhal and Deepanshu Arneja worked around three key elements: natural light, ample ventilation, and abundant landscaping.
