The topmost part of the hill accommodates the colonial villas, the originally built colonial mansions, overlooking a paddy field. The two mansions have a shared saltwater pool and offer stunning views. The expansive rooms transport one back to the Ceylon era of the royals. The hotel's public spaces i.e., the Sala Sala lounge, the restaurant, the common saltwater pool and the library are on the level below, again offering uninterrupted views and a tranquil ambience to unwind.
