Marriage: The Right Choice
Woman's Era
|November Second 2018
How to make it so.
In a day-to-day conversation, we come across that the single person is happier than the married person. One must have heard jokes especially from husbands about how their spouses put the brake in their enjoyment and freedom, but research says otherwise.
Simply married means nothing. Marriage should be made a stepping stone for more enjoyment of life and should not be looked upon as the purpose of fulfilling sex only. You have a partner and because of him or her you have children, who are a source of immense pleasure as you watch them growing. Whenever you are happy, if you have something very close to share, happiness will grow manifold. Marriage guides you to have a common aim like saving, owning a house and making it home, looking after children’s health, education and their settlement in life etc. These aims will ensure that you will forgo many differences with your spouse and proceed further and enjoy life in the bargain. You might have heard the saying that “when a couch cell is blown 40 per cent of mind faculty will open up, when you recite OM mantra 70 per cent of your faculty opens up, but when you hear Aji Sunate Ho 100 per cent faculty opens up. These are men’s opinions. Men have always had the perception that they are superior and their spouse puts the obstacles in their freedom. We find differential treatment meted out to the fair sex not only in India but throughout the world. One finds salary difference in jobs, services even in the prize money in sports. Why? Because men have been dominating, so they made the rules and regulations which are more favourable to them.
