Bridging the generation gap
Pastiche Holdings Ltd has been appointed by the Government of St. Kitts & Nevis (through its International Ship Registry’s CEO, Mr. Debasis Mazumdar) as the Maritime Registrar for Hong Kong.
The company is headed by Mr. Jagmeet Makkar, a shipping professional with over 35 years working experience in various maritime related fields from sailing to technical management to commercial shipping. This experience includes but is not limited to operating, chartering, sale and purchase, new-building project management, ship management, ship finance, operating leases, joint ventures and cargo marketing. He has shipboard experience on various types of ships, before coming ashore in 1993 after sailing as Chief Engineer with KC Maritime.
Jagmeet is a Supporting Member of LMAA (London Maritime Arbitrators Association), member of HKMAG (Hong Kong Maritime Arbitration Group) and Past Chairman of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (HK Branch). His previous employment was as the Global Head of Shipping Assets and Co-Head of Chartering with the Hong Kong based Noble Group.
