In fact, some people on that side of the pond are willing to spend between $70 000 and $100 000 USD for a good Defender – a truly preposterous amount when translated into the approximate Rand terms. Even more insane is that no imported Land Rover Defender is legally allowed to drive on American roads unless it’s at least 25 years old.
