Fondly referred to by gaming fans as the “First lady of the Republic,” Ann has earned for herself the title of brand ambassador for ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG)—all thanks to her successful turn in game streaming. Surprisingly, this career path wasn’t exactly what she sought out to do. But as with any game, a good player never backs down from a challenge.

TELL US ABOUT HOW YOU GOT INTO GAMING AND STREAMING. WHEN DID IT ALL START FOR YOU?

Bata pa ako nung nag-start akong magkaroon ng interest sa FPS (first-person shooter) games like Counter-Strike, but I got busy in school so medyo natigil ako. April 1, 2016, I started streaming my games. At that time, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) naman ‘yung nilalaro ko. A friend of mine encouraged me to try streaming. Sabi niya, “Naglalaro ka rin naman, bakit ‘di ka pa mag-stream,” so I tried it. Gumawa ako ng account sa Twitch and eventually I became a partner streamer.
