For its latest smartwatch, Samsung plays nice with Google—resulting in a bigger app catalog and improved usability.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch4 and Galaxy Watch4 Classic run Wear OS 3, which is a joint development project between Samsung and Google. They also feature Samsung’s One UI Watch user interface.

More than the shift from Tizen to Wear OS, however, the Galaxy Watch4 series boasts Samsung’s most advanced suite of health and wellness features yet.

The smartwatch is equipped with BioActive Sensor, which uses a single chip to run three other health sensors: Optical Heart Rate, Electrical Heart, and Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis. It allows you to monitor your blood pressure, detect an irregular heartbeat, measure your blood oxygen (SpO2) levels.

Meanwhile, an all-new body composition measurement tool captures 2,400 data points in just 15 seconds and can give you a comprehensive set of measurements such as skeletal muscle, basal metabolic rate, body water, and body fat percentage. All you have to do is place the tips of your middle and ring fingers onto the side buttons.

These smartwatches also come packed with wellness features to track your daily activities and help you stay motivated. Aside from a wide range of guided workouts, you can also enjoy Group Challenges with your friends and family with Samsung Health, and keep track of your sleep patterns via Sleep Scores and blood oxygen level.
