When the COVID-19 pandemic struck the world, streaming also got bigger. Twitch, the biggest streaming platform broke viewership records during the first few months of streaming, clocking over 2 billion hours of watch time. Streaming became a way to connect with people during the quarantine. Some try to stream their games to friends, while others simply want to connect with other gamers.
