Ryan Christie at the double as Celts kick off December with a win

IT was a sort of homecoming for Ryan Christie on Sunday as he headed up to the Highlands with his Celtic team-mates to take on Ross County in Dingwall.
Christie’s main focus was on ensuring the Hoops took all three points back down the A9, but as an Inverness Bhoy, he was also keen to put one over his hometown team’s rivals.
He did just that, netting twice in the 4-1 win to take his tally for the season to an impressive 15 goals. He was suitably pleased when he spoke to the Celtic View after the game.
“It’s always a nice touch to score, and I think I was the only one not complaining coming up that road on Saturday night,” Christie said. “It’s nice to be back home for a little bit, and to score against my homegrown rivals.
“The performance was good, and it was always going to be a tough game in Dingwall, especially with us playing on Thursday night. You’ve got to have a quick turnaround, you’ve to start sharp and I thought we did that, to be fair.
