There are few better races on the under-23 calendar for providing a clue to the upcoming GC and mountain specialists than the Ronde de l’Isard. Run over four days in the Pyrenean passes around the small town of Saint Girons, the past winners of this under-23 event include Philip Deignan, Kenny Elissonde and, last year, Pavel Sivakov, all current Team Sky riders.
