Slovak finally justifies favourite status.
World Champion Peter Sagan finally broke free of the ever-watchful peloton to win the race many have considered his destiny, Paris-Roubaix.
While the Slovak has won the Tour of Flanders, three World Championships and five Tour de France green jerseys, the Hell of the North was the one race he had wanted to win since he was a boy, Sagan said after out-sprinting Swiss breakaway partner Silvan Dillier (Ag2r).
