The Vedanta Kesari
|June 2022
It is a pleasant Sunday evening. Vedanth and his grandmother are walking in their backyard. As they discuss various topics, his Paati (grandmother) tells him about a book on numerology which she has just finished reading. She has a few inferences from it.

There are many Self-Help Groups (SHGs) in Vedanth's village. Many cottage industries are engaged in producing incense sticks. His grandpa volunteers at taking the products to the market. He helps them earn the deserved revenue for their output. Being a Vedic Maths expert, his approach to calculating the daily quantum produced is thoroughly professional.
Vedanth: Thatha, amazing! You handle so many activities with such ease! I can't imagine how you calculate the daily production in every unit mentally!
Thatha: That's very simple dear. I have organised the members into different units based on their productivity levels. For example, Unit 35 is a group of 35 women who make 35 packs each, daily, and Unit 45 is a group of 45 women who make 45 packs each, daily and so on. This makes it easy for me to estimate the numbers.
