Evans: Nobody will beat the record of inspirational Davis
Rangers star Steven Davis will tonight set a caps record for Northern Ireland that will NEVER be beaten according to international team-mate Jonny Evans.
The midfielder made his 120th appearance for his country in Thursday’s win over Bosnia & Herzegovina in the Euro 2020 play-offsemi-final.
That moved him past goalkeeping great Pat Jennings in the all-time list and if he faces Austria at Windsor Park tonight Davis will go ahead of Wayne Rooney as British football’s most-capped outfield ace.
