Melksham’s Fey plans to enjoy it
RICHARD FEY isn’t worrying too much about where Melksham Town will end up this season – he just wants a full season in the dugout!
Fey, who recently signed a new two-year deal, took over at the Southern League Division One South West club with assistant Nathan Rudge in 2019.
With an exodus of players following previous manager Kieran Baggs out the exit, the former Street boss is aiming to make sure the Wiltshire outfit become an established Step 4 club.
“I’ve been here two years now and that’s what we’ve been trying to do – unfortunately I can’t complete a season!” Fey told The NLP. “The objective when we came in was to make us an established Southern League club and be competitive and make sure the supporters are proud of what we put out on the pitch.
