Orbea’s new Occam trail bike is compatible with 27.5in, 27.5 Plus and 29er wheels

Can’t decide which wheel size to go for? Can’t decide whether you want Plus tyres or slimmer 29er rubber? Orbea has a new version of the Occam trail bike for the chronically indecisive; now available in a TR version, with 130mm travel, it can flip between 29in and 27.5 Plus wheels and is perfect for winter mud riding and summer dust baths. There’s also an AM version with 150mm travel and 27.5in wheels.

So that’s 10mm more travel on all models compared to the old version, and it has also changed the geometry, although not radically. Size ranges have been bumped up, with the Occam TR now available in a Small and the Occam AM in an XL size. The general Occam aspects remain though, so it’s still built from alloy or carbon with a Boost 148 back end.
