The race for the AFC East crown gets started
Buffalo Bills
Josh Allen and his Buffalo Bills got off to a slow start in Week 1 and could not recover against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Allen and the Bills are looked at as a Super Bowl favorite by many around the NFL, but they showed that in the NFL, it is earned, not given.
Luckily for the Bills and their fans, it is a long season, and getting punched in the mouth in Week 1 could be the early wake-up call they needed. Some teams react differently to getting beat, but the Bills are well-coached with head coach Sean McDermott.
The Bills also showed that their defense is going to be solid all season, which is huge. Allen will be able to get going and up to his MVP-type level of play, so Buffalo is still a strong Super Bowl contender all year with a solid defense attached to that.
