Setting up a nursery for your little one is incredibly exciting, but it can also be rather daunting. If you’re feeling a little overwhelmed by the process, these four interior ideas from British Paint’s product manager Carmen Jordan will help create a cosy sanctuary for your mini-me.

1 ADD SOME COLOUR

Adding a fresh coat of paint to your nursery is one of the most cost-effective ways to inject personality into the room. Head to Bunnings Warehouse to pick up a few sample pots of colours you love but wouldn’t usually consider. Next, test them out by painting a large piece of paper and sticking it up on your wall to view at different times of the day and night.
