In an emotional social media video, Adele tearfully cancelled her Las Vegas residency shows just days before they were due to begin, citing COVID-hit staff and “delivery delays” for the postponement.

But, those claims have been rubbished by sceptics, who believe COVID may not be the only reason behind the adjournment.
