Maruti Suzuki Dzire

Indian auto giant, Maruti Suzuki has launched the new Dzire in India at a starting price of ₹ 5.45 lakhs. The new Dzire gets a host of new features and updates both mechanically and aesthetically. It is also based on the company’s new HEARTECT platform and comes with many safety features as standard.

Under the hood of the New Dzire are the same tried and tested 1.2-litre K-Series engine and a 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine. The petrol motor is still in the same tune as before i.e 82bhp of power and 113Nm of torque. The diesel motor is good enough for 72bhp of power and 190Nm of torque. Both the engines now get an option of an automatic transmission. The petrol motor has an ARAI rated fuel efficiency figure of 22 kmpl whereas the diesel engine has a 28.48 kmpl. Staying true to the Maruti gene, both the ARAI figures are the best in their segment.

Maruti Suzuki India has done a commendable job by adding dual airbags and ABS as a standard feature. Aesthetically, the new Dzire now gets DRL’s with projector headlamps, a new design language altogether(more on that in the review) and Android Auto + Apple CarPlay on the inside.

Lexus Range

Luxury carmaker Lexus- a subsidiary of Toyota has finally marked its presence in our country with the introduction of three brand new products - the RX 450h, LX 450d and the ES 300h. Lexus plans to dealerships throughout the country starting with one each in Mumbai and Bengaluru and two in Delhi. Here are all the details you need to know about the Lexus products in India-

Lexus RX 450h

The RX 450h has been priced at ₹1.07 to 1.09 Cr (ex-showroom Delhi). The Luxury variant has been priced at ₹1.07 Cr whereas the F Sport variant comes at ₹1.09 Cr.

Under the hood of the RX 450h is a 3.6-litre V6 engine coupled with an electric motor which gives a combined output of 300bhp of power along with 316Nm of torque.
