Stephen McManus admired Henrik as a fan and as a team-mate
STEPHEN McMANUS was a young player coming through the ranks at Celtic when Henrik Larsson was scoring goals and winning trophies for the Hoops.
Like every Celtic fan, he admired Larsson’s goal scoring exploits for the team but he was also able to benefit from observing the Super Swede’s talents at close-range, particularly when he was able to train alongside him.
And the former Celtic captain, now in his fifth season at Motherwell, remains as full of admiration for the Magnificent Seven now as he did 20 years ago, as he explained to the View…
