There’s a certain timelessness and pristine quality about this achromatic hue that cannot be denied. Plus, it does wonders in opening up a petite apartment. If you’re apprehensive about a white-on-white look for this busy part of home, try incorporating hits of bold tones or luxurious gilded details into the picture.

The open concept kitchen and its neighbouring shared zones don’t necessarily have to be matchy-matchy. Here, the darker shade of the cabinet fronts may stand out, but not in an overwhelming manner all thanks to unifying effect of the wood finish used across the hall.
