Lighting designers Prateek Jain and Gautam Seth founded Klove Studio in 2005 with the purpose to play with light and explore its form in different dimensions. The studio’s experience and expertise span a wide breadth of focus in decorative lighting installations. Their journey started with a quest for perfection to understand form and use of light as a primary material that transforms space design. Klove explores the relation with function and form as embodied in spatial design and from there moves into the realm of emotion as personified in our human form. A bold play with diverse materials such as brass, silver, aluminium, wrought iron and stainless steel, is combined with hand blown glass to break norms of conformity bringing to life intangible ideas. From Indian architecture, jewellery, art and culture movements, festivals celebrating the human spirit, onto ancient rituals and our relationship with the biosphere — the range of inspiration is sweeping in its canvass. It seeks to be whimsical and capture different lexes of fluidity frozen in tangible mediums..
