A celebration table should always begin with laying the table linen. This provides the perfect colourful backdrop to everything and can make the simplest of tableware look amazing instantly, if are working with a theme this can really bring it to life.

Always work with the ‘rule of three’ to bring a real sense of occasion to your table. Start with a beautiful place-mat, in linen or chic wicker, otherwise a charger plate. Add your dinner plate, and finally your pudding (or salad) plate.

Then three glasses, two wine and a water, always with a thin stem and a large pour. Vintage glasses mixed in with more contemporary colours like our tortoiseshell water glasses make a fun talking point, each glassware will have its own story.
