FOR THEIR FIRST MAJOR RENOVATION, TEAMS WERE TASKED WITH CREATING A MODERN, COLOUR-FILLED CELEBRATION OF MIAMI BEACH STYLE ON QUEENSLAND’S GOLD COAST

In their renovating debut, the latest line-up of dynamite duos were given a tall order: to tackle the faded beauty of a Gold Coast penthouse apartment and create fresh spaces that evoked a sense of luxury and glamour. With House Rules to follow that encompassed a Miami Beach vibe, sexy curves and gelato hues, the end results produced some serious wow-factor – especially in the bathrooms.

Seasoned House Rules judge Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, and newcomers Kyly Clarke and Saul Myers, were impressed by the ingenuity and style put forward by the newbie renovators. “The rooms are bigger, the challenges are far, far greater,” says Laurence. “This is absolute, six-star, high-ticket, penthouse decorating.”
