Shari White’s shawl design can do the talking for you

  • A 3.5mm (US E/4) hook

TENSION

Tension is not critical for this project, but it may affect the yarn quantities required

MEASUREMENTS

Shawl measures approx 40x170cm (15¾x67in)

ABBREVIATIONS

Ttr fan Ttr in ch-3 sp, (ch1, ttr) 9 times in same sp

Contrasting closed and airy stitches work together with silky, smooth yarn to make some waves with an almost shimmery effect and fluid drape.

NOTES

Shawl is worked in rows throughout.

The stitch count remains constant on each row. For the Main Body of the Shawl, all sts are worked into the treble stitches in the previous row and never in the ch-2 sps. On the Edging sts are worked into the ch-sp and treble stitches.
