A New Perspective in Addiction Psychology
Whenever we hear the word ADDICTION the first thing that comes in our mind is Drugs, Alcohol, and Smoking etc which is all NEGATIVE. Negative Addiction is the one that has a negative impact in one’s life, example: a person may be negatively addicted to alcohol, drugs, smoking that effects his body and even his daily life and activities. I want to highlight that there is one more addiction and that is POSITIVE ADDICTION. Positive Addiction on the other hand is an emerging field in psychology that was coined by William Glasser in 1965 in his book “Positive Addiction”, which gives us strengths and motivation to live a healthy and satisfying life, which includes addictions like: jogging, meditation, writing diaries, exercise etc.
Positive Addiction is a behavior that to develop a healthy and satisfying life by physial means that is through gym, running etc by mental means by doing yoga, meditation or by doing hobbies like writing diaries or cooking, By doing all these things we feel emotionally strong which helps us to feel satisfied and healthy in our life.
The next thing that would come in our mind is that HOW CAN WE GET POSITIVELY ADDICTED? Getting positively addicted is not an easy task; it takes nearly 6 months to 1 year to get positively addicted to activities like running, meditation etc (daily 1 hr practice). You need to be concentrated with your work; you should follow your routine and practice it.

Bone Health Why It Matters Across Your Entire Life
Bone health isn't something that suddenly matters after age 60. Healthy bones are essential from infancy through old age — they support movement, protect vital organs, help regulate mineral balance (like calcium), and act as a reservoir for essential nutrients. But bone strength doesn't stay static: it changes throughout life due to growth, hormonal shifts, lifestyle factors, and aging.
