Modeller’s Notes
Given the age and currentrarity of kits of the CH-54,and consequently the S-64, it may encourage the reader to know that Mike West at Lone Star Models is currently working on a 1/72 Resin and White Metal S-64F Helitanker conversion for the Revell CH-54A kit, with decals, and including airframe and extended cabin modifications. Also under way is a full mixed-media kit of the CH-54 in 1/48, including the M121 ‘Daisy Cutter’ bomb, which will also be available separately.
No release date is available at present, but in the meantime a resume of products relating to this desirable machine seems appropriate:
