The stage was the 2015 World Wrestling Championship. Narsingh was in a crucial bronze medal playoff against Zelimkhan Khadjiev of France. The Mumbai-based 26-year-old won the bout comfortably and with added flourish with a high risk, swashbuckling move called the ‘dhak’. The dhak is practised mostly in local akharas in India. It was, that is, until Narsingh took it to Vegas.
