Innovation was the central focus at Glimpz 2016, an annual exhibition organised by the Indian Institute of Gems & Jewellery (IIGJ), Mumbai. Held on October 18 and 19 at IIGJ in Andheri, the final year students of the three-year jewellery design and manufacturing techniques diploma course showcased their designs as part of their graduation project.
Ishu Datwani, chief guest and founder of Anmol Jewellers, inaugurated the exhibition along with Rose Group’s founder Biren Vaidya, IIGJ chairman Kirit Bhansali and Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) chairman Praveenshankar Pandya. IIGJ directors Sanjay Kothari, Namita Pandya, Nirmal Kumar Barmecha and Raj Parikh also attended the Glimpz opening.
