Have you met our first-ever Men’s Folio Malaysia Model Search winner? Mohd Al Adam was crowned the champion of the #MFMYModelSearch – and here, he shows us why he’s got what it takes.
When we asked how winning the contest would assist him further in a career that he has already been in for a couple of years, he candidly replies: “For starters, I will have a bunch of new editorial photos that I can add to my portfolio. And being on the cover of such an esteemed magazine like Men’s Folio will definitely increase my credibility as a model – and it will be an introduction to those who don’t know who I am yet.”
Adam continues to by sharing the other things which pique his interest. “My first love is football, for sure,” he admits. “This sounds terribly cliched, but I also love art and all kinds of it: music, paintings, sculptures, photos, movies, and even the installations you see at museums that people consider ‘weird’.” And then, there are the things he hates. “I dislike Tottenham supporters, my computer when it lags, racists, and fake people. Oh, I also can’t hang with people who hate Drake.” His sardonic sense of humour adds to his charm.
You aren’t new to the modelling industry. How did you get into it?
