The Doctor gets ready to fight bad guys again when Jodie Whittaker’s newly regenerated Time Lord makes a spectacular entrance in the series opener.

Viewers got a brief glimpse of Jodie as the new female Doctor when she regenerated at the end of last year’s Christmas special and was thrown from her TARDIS into space.

The action picks up with the 13th Doctor crashing through the roof of a train in Sheffield and learning she’s now a woman…
