Lord Boreal remains determined to get his hands on the powerful subtle knife in BBC1’s His Dark Materials.

But in the penultimate episode, as he reluctantly heads into the mysterious city of Cittàgazze to continue his quest, will he finally achieve his goal?

The scheming villain has been trailing Will, who he believes could lead him to the weapon. After his confrontation in Oxford with the teenager, who is now the bearer of the knife, Boreal realizes he needs to follow Will into Cittàgazze.
