Jenna Coleman reveals what’s in store for the monarch and new mother as the royal drama returns

Ripon Cathedral in Yorkshire, TV&Satellite Week has been invited on set to watch filming for the much-awaited second series of ITV’s hit royal drama Victoria.

The action picks up one month on from the gripping series one finale, which saw Victoria give birth to the couple’s first child and we now follow the Queen as she juggles her new role as a mother with her royal duties.

Today, Ripon Cathedral is doubling as Westminster Abbey for a scene later in the series,  while also featuring in this week’s episode as the backdrop for baby Victoria’s christening.
