Tommy Shelby has faced plenty of villains during his rise to power, but few have been quite as memorable as Sir Oswald Mosley.

The controversial politician caused a stir at Lizzie’s birthday soiree last week and his plans to launch a new political party, the British Union of Fascists, are set to shake Parliament to the very foundations as the fifth series builds to a climax.

This week’s episode opens in the immediate aftermath of Lizzie’s shooting at the hands of Aunt Polly, with Mosley giving the first glimpse of his awesome oratory powers when he addresses the Shelbys’ shocked party guests.
